Oh how excited I am to share these few photos from our Brides 2019 Wedding Show booth held at the Halifax Convention Centre!! This show booth was so exciting to put together and we had such a wonderful time at the event meeting new people, chatting wedding photographing, and catching up with some of our darling couples. I even had a few self proclaimed “fan girls” who follow me on Instagram introduce themselves (true story!!). Needless to say they had me blushing! By the end of the day my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
If you’re anything like me then you LOVE an abundance of florals, unique personal touches, and a fun atmosphere. Well that’s exactly what I wanted this booth to be all about and with the help of an amazing team this vision got brought to life. I can’t wait to build on and perfect this concept for the Brides 2020 Halifax Wedding Show!
Aside from chatting with the attendees (love!), my next favourite part of the show happened while the Brides 2019 guests were watching the fashion show. I stopped by one of my favourite planner’s booth, Elegant Productions, where they gifted me something special. These ladies are so fun to work with and they are just the sweetest bunch. I was so honoured to be featured in a book they recently launched, An East Coast Wedding Planner, and so grateful when I showed up to say hi as they gifted me a copy of this beautiful book. If you’re engaged and planning your wedding this is a must have!
Among the book featured in the photos below, you’ll also see some beautiful custom cookies by Cake Babes, florals by Little Thistle, floating wood logo letters by Wellwood Designs, decor rentals from MacFarlands, prints from Atlantic Photo Supply, and hand lettering by Love Struck Lettering. Huge thank you to Ivy, Jarrett, and Paria for their help prepping and setting up. Shout out to the lovely Naphtali Carleton who did my makeup bright and early (goodbye tired eyes) and my go-to gal Marieke from Tidal Hair Lounge who had my blonde hair looking fresh! And lastly, my fun dusty pink tassel earrings are from Aldo and the little black dress is from Poppy and Olive.
What is your favourite part of this photography booth design? Anything you would like to see at our booth next year? Drop a comment below or send me a message and let me know your thoughts! xo
Hey! Question, I am looking everywhere for how to build or buy a floating wall like the one you have. Suggestions on where I can look? Thanks so much!!
How did you make the wall?
